Traits:
Pure 6PPD is a white solid that will gradually oxidize to a brown solid when placed in air. Industrial products are purple-brown to dark brown granules or flakes, which will slowly agglomerate when the temperature exceeds 35-40 °C. Soluble in gasoline, benzene, acetone, ethyl acetate, dichloroethane, carbon tetrachloride, toluene, ethanol and other organic solvents, insoluble in water.
use:
6PPD is a p-phenylenediamine rubber anti-aging agent. It has good compatibility with rubber, is not easy to be sprayed, is not volatile, has low toxicity, and has excellent anti-oxidation, anti-ozone, anti-curvature cracking and sun cracking. It has strong inhibitory effect on harmful metals such as copper and manganese, and is suitable for all kinds of synthetic rubber and natural rubber. It has good dispersibility in the rubber compound and softens the rubber compound, and has little effect on the vulcanization. It can be used in various rubber products such as tires, and also as a thermal oxygen stabilizer for polyethylene, polypropylene and acrylic resins.
