Application advice

Scorch retardant CTP (PVI) (butyl oleate)

It is modified with Butyl Oleate as an anti-scorch aid.

The scorch retarder CTP is a high-efficiency vulcanization inhibitor. It is suitable for the sulfur vulcanization system of natural rubber SBR, BR, IIR, CR, EPM, EPDM, NBR using sulfenamide and thiazole accelerator. A small amount of addition can significantly improve the processing safety, help to speed up certain processing of rubber products, and save raw materials and energy. It can improve the storage stability of the rubber and prevent natural vulcanization during storage. This product has a regenerative effect on rubber that has been subjected to high heat or scorch. The recommended dosage is 0.1-0.5 parts.

use

The scorch retarder CTP is a very effective scorch retarder for all sulfur vulcanized dienes and low unsaturation rubbers such as natural rubber, styrene butadiene rubber, nitrile rubber, butyl rubber and neoprene. , isoamyl rubber, cis-butyl rubber, EPDM rubber, etc. all have good anti-scorch effect, and their activity is not affected when used together with other rubber additives. There are no adverse side effects such as foaming and contamination. It can greatly improve the storage stability of the rubber and prevent natural vulcanization during storage. Compared with the conventional scorch retarder, the effect is good and the amount is small, and the usual dosage is 0.1-0.5 parts.

The scorch retarder CTP is widely used in sulfur-vulcanizable elastomers, and has good anti-coke effect in combination with various general-purpose accelerators. With CTP, whether it is open or high temperature rapid mixing, a mixing process can be used to effectively prevent scorch. It can be used in combination with accelerators M, DM, TMTD and effective or semi-effective vulcanization systems to improve the properties of the compound. The production efficiency of calendering and extrusion can be improved. It is beneficial to improve the adhesion of rubber to brass-plated steel wire. It is widely used in various general-purpose rubbers and special rubbers including nitrile rubber, ethylene propylene or ethylene propylene diene rubber, butyl rubber and neoprene.
