Carbon black import and export data

　　According to customs data, China imported 26,800 tons of carbon black in August 2023, a year-on-year increase of 351.84% and a month-on-month increase of 28.85%. From January to August 2023, China imported a total of 174,000 tons of carbon black, an increase of 187.96% over the same period last year, and the import volume increased by approximately 114,000 tons.

　　In terms of carbon black imports in August 2023, the top three regions are Russia, South Korea and Belgium, with their imports accounting for 75.5%, 5.5% and 3.4% of the total volume respectively.

　　According to the same customs data, China's carbon black export volume in August 2023 was approximately 71,300 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.18% and a month-on-month increase of 9.96%. From January to August 2023, China's cumulative carbon black exports reached 467,000 tons, a decrease of 21.04% compared with the same period last year, a decrease of approximately 124,000 tons.

　　In the carbon black exports in August 2023, the top three regions are Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia, whose export volumes accounted for 28.3%, 26.1% and 13.1% of the total volume respectively.
