　　According to "PCBL Limited Website", India's total carbon black production capacity is currently close to 1.82 million tons. Among the six carbon black manufacturers operating in India, PCBL is the largest producer with five plants and a total production capacity of 770,000 tons. These factories are located in Mundra, Gujarat, with an annual production capacity of 225,000 tons; Durgapur, West Bengal, with an annual production capacity of 163,000 tons; Palej, Gujarat, with an annual production capacity of 142,000 tons; newly built Chennai in Tamil Nadu has an annual production capacity of 147,000 tons; and Kochi in Kerala has an annual production capacity of 93,000 tons.
