Cabot Corporation, a leading global specialty chemicals and performance materials company (NYSE: CBT), has triumphantly announced that 19 of its 20 carbon black production facilities worldwide have been recognized by the International Carbon Black Association (ICBA) for their exceptional safety performance in 2023 through its prestigious 'Safety Recognition Program.' Notably, 18 of these facilities received the highest gold award, while one secured a bronze distinction, showcasing Cabot's unparalleled commitment to safety.
Remarkably, Cabot accounts for over half of the 35 manufacturing plants among ICBA member companies worldwide that were honored for their above-average safety achievements. Furthermore, Cabot boasts the highest proportion of gold awards, underlining its leadership position in safety excellence.
